Shipping will comprise of two parts.

I will initially send you individual pots for you to return your inclusions along with an order confirmation form and instructions for how to send your inclusions. This form will also contain QR codes to FAQs and Terms and Conditions which can also be found on the website. This must be signed and returned along with your inclusions to process your order. Further instructions can also be added here for any additional specifications for your piece alongside any extra information you wish to share about your loved one or pet in order for me to get a clearer picture of their character and personality whilst i create your piece.

After completing your item I will then send it to you alongside your remaining inclusions, a certificate of authenticy and your pocket hug. This will be shipped to you via Royal Mail Tracked 48hour with signature to ensure it arrives to you safely.

For those who are local however please get in touch to arrange delivery or collection in person.

Caring for your ring

Your ring is made from solid 925 sterling silver, so with the correct care it should bring you joy, comfort and pleasure for many years to come.

The good thing about adjustable rings, is that they grow with you and can be adjusted for comfort. If your fingers swell, you don’t have to subject yourself to wearing a piece that leaves marks or causes pain.

However, adjustable rings have their disadvantages, they are not as strong as a solid ring and will snap or bend out of shape if too much pressure is applied.

Please try to minimise the number of adjustments you make as expanding and contracting will weaken the silver and could eventually lead to ring breakage.

A Guide to adjusting your ring

Tightening

1. Use your index finger and thumb to slowly and gently squeeze the band outwards
2. Use your thumbs to apply gentle pressure at the top of the ring to maintain its round shape
3. Repeat steps one and two gently, until the ring fits comfortably

Loosening

1. Use your index finger and thumb to slowly and gently squeeze the band inwards
2. Use your thumbs to apply gentle pressure at the top of the ring to maintain its round shape
3. Repeat steps one and two gently, until the ring fits comfortably

Water

• Do NOT submerge your piece of jewellery in water, SO please remember to remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, or washing up etc. Particularly avoid wearing your jewellery in saltwater to prevent tarnishing. Should your jewellery get wet use a soft lint free, non-abrasive cloth to completely dry to prevent scratches

• Remove your jewellery before excising

Sunlight

• Store your jewellery out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the silver to tarnish

Chemicals

• Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes antibacterial hand sanitiser, perfumes, hairspray, toothpaste, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover and chlorine etc.

Storage

• Store you jewellery out of direct sunlight, somewhere cool, dark and moisture free. A good place would be in the jewellery box provided or a small zip lock bag or soft pouch.

When removing, slowly twist the ring upward and pull it gently down your finger, this will prolong the lifespan of the ring.

Resin jewellery is hard-wearing but to get the best out of your pieces and ensure that they last a lifetime please try to adhere to the following advice. This will keep your pieces looking their best and save your having to pay for the resin jewellery to be replaced. Some resin jewellery clients don’t follow the instructions and their pieces are fine, but it is best to be on the safe side. The instructions are the same for epoxy and UV based pieces, however all products that I make will be UV resin.

Scrapes

· Try to avoid bumping and scratching your piece as this could damage it. Avoid using tools and doing manual work with the piece on.

Water

· Do NOT submerge your piece of jewellery in water. Resin is NOT waterproof, only water resistant. SO please remember to remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, or washing up etc.

Heat

· If your piece is exposed to big temperature fluctuations, it might expand and contract which can cause the elements inside to separate.

Sunlight

· Store your jewellery out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the resin to discolour and soften.

Smoking

· If your piece is in regular contact with smoke it will usually yellow. However, some wearers of resin jewellery that do smoke and have worn their pieces for years have not seen discolouration.

Chemicals

· Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes antibacterial hand sanitiser, perfume, hair spray, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover and chlorine etc.

When Resin Jewellery Care Has Been Forgotten

I ask clients to retain elements such as cremation ashes and fur because it makes a remake possible if needed. If you have not retained the elements, I may not be able to remake your item. Please note however that a remake will NOT be identical to your initial product as all items are unique. A charge will be incurred for any remakes.

Yellowing

· Yellowing is almost always due to resin care rather than the brand of resin. The resin I use is of high quality and should not yellow if it is cared for properly.

Dullness and Scratches

· If your piece has dulled or has been scratched or scraped, I can add a new topcoat layer. This will be for a small fee plus postage.
